Do you know about Pharmacy First?

Pharmacy First is a convenient free to access NHS service that means you can get health care advice and treatment directly from a pharmacy without needing a GP appointment.

Pharmacists are able to provide walk-in or online consultations and where appropriate they can supply NHS medicines for people in eligible age groups with seven common conditions: Acute Otitis Media, Impetigo, Infected insect bite, Shingles, Sinusitis, Sore throat, and Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections in women.

You can Access Pharmacy First by walking into or contacting a pharmacy or your GP surgery or NHS 111 may refer you to the service giving you faster access to healthcare advice and treatment.

We provide expert care and advice about improving your lifestyle and losing and managing your weight safely. We offer a range of weight loss options, including prescription treatments such as Mounjaro (Tirzepatide), Wegovy (Semaglutide), Saxenda (Liraglutide), and Orlistat.

We offer NHS and Privately Funded Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) tests over 24 hours by using a cuff attached to a portable device that’s worn on your waist or pouch. You can continue with your daily activities during this time. You can get your blood pressure checked at Camden Pharmacy without needing to see a GP first. We have a Consultation Room available to talk privately.

We offer free NHS or privately funded Flu and Covid-19 vaccination services. You can have the Covid-19 vaccine at the same time as the Flu vaccine. If you’re eligible for a Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine, it’s more effective to have it on a different day to your Covid-19 and Flu vaccines.

Camden Pharmacy is taking part in the Self-Care Medicines Scheme to provide eligible people and families on low incomes in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington who struggle to afford medicines with selected free non-prescription medicines for common minor ailments like allergies, earache or minor injuries.

We offer Ear and Nose Piercing services. Our trained staff provide professional, hygienic, safe and gentle piercing services for ears and noses. Exclusions may apply and we reserve the right to refuse a piercing if necessary.
